A Mid-Spring Dream
It seems like every time I start one of these blog posts, another month has gone by. Wait a minute, that's exactly what's happening! Now it's October, the month of Halloween and the post AFL come-down. Where will I be at? You might ask, or you might not. Read on and see, if you like. I've got quite a varied month where I'll be up north of the river one day and then south the next. From Mindarie to Mandurah, Bassendean to Fremantle, I'm going all over. Scroll down for my list of solo (and Wesley) gigs. Regretfully, I only have one gig left to play at the Araluen Botanic Park for the Tulip Festival, which is right at the start of the month. I'll return to the Concourse on Saturday 3rd October from 10am for another stint among the flowers and people! If you've not been for a while, this year's bloom is quite stunning. Rhona and I are heading off to Melbourne for a little getaway too! You might notice the gaps in gigs in my guide this month, and that's why. We'll be taking in the sights and catching some live shows by two Perth boys; two Kevins at that! What are the odds?
The Wesleys will be keeping busy in between Thursday nights at Sir Henry's in Northbridge, our twice-monthly appearances at the Byford & Districts Country Club and an occasional Sunday session at Lakers Tavern in Thornlie. You can also catch us at the Kalamunda Garden Festival in December! This year, the summer event will be on Sunday 6th December at Stirk Park, and we're playing from 12-3pm. Always a fun time!
